This is national Library Week in the U.S. I am a part time academic librarian but I am currently the president of our local library's chapter of the Friends of the (public)Library. I implore you to visit your local public library if you haven't done so recently. Public libraries exist to full fill your information needs. I've found some good books that have helped me in my quest to find out more information about the possible syndromes I may have in addition to dysautonomia. Since I'm over 50, the Internet is not my only source of information; I still like to read books not just a computer screen. Some libraries are well funded and may provide access to databases that you can't access at home. Public libraries are community centers and may be just what you need when you feel alone. Many provide classes in computer skills to increase your searching skills on the Internet. So, I hope to "see" you @ the Library! - Kay

Thanks for letting us know. I haven't been to the library in quite awhile (reading is hard to do when you're tired)...but I will make a trip this week!
