I am so sorry to hear that you are having this problem. Being possibly Bulimic can exacerbate dys symptoms. Your electrolytes are more than likely very off balance and you are starving your body of needed vitamins and nutrition. For your health, I would seriously consider seeing a psychologist. Talking about the problem with a removed 3rd party could help you understand why you are feeling this way. You may also be a little depressed as a result of the dys, so maybe getting on an antidepressant could help with the possible eating disorder too. I will keep you in my prayers. Please do not let this problem go unaddressed. People who do not have dys and have eating disorders have so many health issues, so adding the dys into the equation can only make it worse. Please, find someone to talk to about treating the disorder.

I am so happy to hear that you are going to see someone. The fact that you are aware there is a problem is a huge step. Although I do not know for sure exactly what the doc will do for this particular problem, I have found it to be extremely helpful to have a 3rd party listen to your problems, without judgement. Your family loves you, but speaking to them is sometimes not the best thing for you. I have experienced this since my diagnosis. Although they have the best of intentions, they sometimes have a way of making you feel that what is happening is not important, or that you just need to "learn to deal." Please be as honest with your therapist as you have been with us. This is definitely the person who can help you come to terms with this so that you can begin to heal. Please keep us informed and know that I will be praying for you.

I wanted to reply to this because from your symptoms after eating you may have something called gastroparesis. Some people with autonomic dysfunction problems get gastroparesis, which means there is a delay in digestion from the stomach and can cause many of the symptoms you are experiencing like the nausea and pain. You may be inducing your vomiting because of that and not because of an eating disorder. I never induced my vomiting, but when I went to the gastroenterologist for the first time he asked me if I've done that because it's common to do so with gastroparesis.

Either way, go see your dr and talk to your therapist and family. Good luck to you.
