I am so glad to have found this site after the last puzzle piece occurred to me to google poor body temperature regulation!
Wow, do I think this is what I have, even though my symptoms are definitely on the mild side!
Thinking back from recent backward, these are how the symptoms have progressed:
Realized that I don't handle heat or cold well.
Vertigo and nauseousness even when fully hydrated/salted in AZ (heat/humidity worst)
Last week, two minutes in the hot car, sent me into Vertigo two days ago that I am still recovering from.
Cold up when we were in Idaho for couple years caused Raynaud's for first time (finger tip or two went WHITE no blood, pins and needles.
Severe fatigue up there (in Idaho) for months, during first winter.
Flush face in cold or heat.
LOW BP, like almost always below 90/60, but often times low 80's over mid 50's, sometimes high 70's over high 40's.
Normal body temp is low, typically below 97.5
Cold hands and feet a lot.
Irregular heart beat.
Not handling exercise well, sometimes takes hours for resting heart rate to come out of the 90's.
Dizziness has come and gone over the years, sometimes wake-up with bed spins, sometimes happens sitting.
Digestive problems coming and going over the years, diagnosed with IBS after barrage of tests, then cleared up. Diarhea for a month, with no parasites or any other diagnosis, then cleared up. Gas issues for months on end, tested high for allergies, then cleared up.
I see that surgeries can trigger this, and thinking back I do not remember any of these symptoms before going under for my 3 life surgeries (colonoscopy, tonsils and wisdom teeth).
Before then, I went to college at NAU and stood outside in a mini-skirt and shirt, no jacket, snow on ground at 1am many nights for after hours dancing. NO PROBLEM.
In high school, I mowed the lawn in the middle of a Saturday in the middle of summer. NO PROBLEM.
Now all these symptoms.
I feel like I am now onto something finding this website.
Coincidentally, my brother-in-law is being trained in a holistic healing that creates remedies based on what they find in your DNA sample. He just went this last week for his 2nd year of annual training among natural healing doctors and MD doctors that are learning about this DNA based remedy treatment. He took samples of mine and my husband's. The night before the last day, he called wanting more information on me. I faxed him the symptoms that I have and said Dysautonomia? He says my DNA has them all trying to figure out a puzzle. I am a tough case. He asked if I ever had heart issues, said they see for sure there is a toxin in my liver, they would continue to work on it and provide me with a program. I am interested to see what they find and will update you all if any of it helps!

ArizonaGirl - so glad your puzzle pieces fell into place (though I'm sorry you have this!). It is always a good feeling to finally have answers and it helps take some of the fear of the unknown away.
Would be very interested in what you find out from a holistic viewpoint. I hate taking medications and am always open to natural options. Will be anxiously awaiting to hear....
Glad you found this forum - you'll meet lots of knowledgeable kind people to help you get through this Smiler

Rosie,

Yes, I have had an ECG? Years ago after my tonsils and wisdom teeth surg. The doc said I had an irregular heartbeat. Said if I ever had heart palpitations to let her know if becomes a problem.

My BP machine registered an irregular heartbeat once.

Then last week, I felt it "flutter" in my chest for a few seconds. Really weird.

Yes, will definitely update all on any natural plans and how they work!

Krissie - in my humble opinion, always get your results. I had docs tell me that my tilt table test results were normal (when I knew darn well my heart rate had gone up). When I got the details of the tests, I found that it was not normal but the doc who read it did not evaluate it for anything other than blood pressure dropping.

I'm a bit critical of the medical establishment - and simply don't trust what they say.

I do have palpitations (pvcs) although both of my echo's came back 'normal'. However in the first one, the radiologist showed me a minor mvp. I guess its not significant enough or isn't regurgitating for them to classify it officially as mvp.
