I was dignosed with nerocardiogenic syncope in October. I have been in pain and have been ill for around six years. What ever is happening is causing asthma, swallowing problems, ibs, nerve damage in my hands, reactive hypoglymia, low uncontroled blood pressure, memory or concentration problems. I have tried to write several times but lost my nerve. I did have encephalitis as a child and wondered if this could be related. Does this sound like you?

Hi Boo,

I just wanted to say "welcome to this forum". There are a lot of people here who are knowledgable and may have some of the symptoms you describe. I have a son who has POTS, and his symptoms are different, so I can't answer your questions.

But I just wanted to say hi. You may want to browse previous posts and see if you can find any discussion on nerocardiogenic syncope.

Welcome!!!

I'm glad you took the chance and posted on the forum. This is a great group of people who are very supportive and have alot of information to share through their experiences and individual research.

There are others with NCS (neurocardiogenic syncope) and other types of autonomic nervous system disorders, including fibromyalgia, etc. The main posting area is 'Dysautonomia Talk'.

Read up as much as you can (I totally understand the memory and concentration issues and how they impact your ability to read - I go through that off and on).

Again - welcome!
