Agreed! I am in the process of applying for a disability policy through my work. If anyone has resources for learning about this, I would appreciate them!

I am sorry I missed this. I live in Milwaukee and was diagnosed about a year ago. I have manifested new symptoms in the last year including bladder, lungs, eyes getting worse and more sensitivity to heat intolerance. I have been told by my Dr. I might want to consider not working, or working part time. However I am a professor and this would devastate me. I am not sure of my options, do people with Dysautonomia qualify for Social Security disability?

i applied for ssi and was suggested visit www.ssa.gov/disability.
i then searched for attorneys that specialized in social security disability. this was the recommendation of legal aid society.
An attorney can only charge a certain amount (25%) if someone wins.
