I am looking for a POTS specialist or clinic. I was diagnosed several years ago and my doctor recently moved overseas. I live in Maryland but would be willing to travel if anyone has suggestions. Thanks!

I have POTS and live/work in DC. I have an internist and a cardiologist that I use - they are in the same building in Chevy Chase, MD and have really helped me. They communicate with each other about my case when needed. The internist is Dr. Callsen of Physician Associates. I see her once a month and have spoken to her on the phone when needed. My cardiologist is Dr. Yamamoto and his partner Dr. Bodurian (Dr. B. is the one who finally diagnosed me - he has also been named one of THE top cardios in DC - in fact, upon seeing me try to catch my breath when I stood up to get on the table (within 3 mins of my first visit) he grabbed my wrist and said "You have POTS" - he then did every heart test known to man in his office that same day and hooked me up to a holter).

I have heard there is a dys. specialist at GW Hospital - Dr. Pocinki - I have not gone to him since I am satisfied with my current team and can make no recommendations about him.

GOOD LUCK!
