I don't get lost driving, luckily, but I have noticed that my eyes are slow to adjust after passing streetlights and other cars. It's like there's a haze for about 40 seconds over my vision. All I do is drive home from work at night though, short drive and I go slow - because for some strange reason people are out walking around at night and every cat in town is too.

Thanks for your responses. I know this a POTS thing but it's really getting worse. I was within 10 minutes of my house (at in-laws that I visit all the time). Took me more than an hour to get back home and my husband was in a panic.

Heya Deb! Wow, that's not just night vision you're talking. That's full blown disorientation like an alzheimer's patient. Did you ever have your homocysteine level checked? That can lead to disorientation and memories problems. And side note dementia and alzheimer's patients have higher than normal levels of homocysteine. I would definitely talk to your doctor about this. There's all sorts of things that could be going wrong. You've had major thyroid problems and adrenal problems in the past. Something could be very off again. Perhaps a medication needs to be adjusted. Very serious getting lost for an hour for what normally is a 10 min drive. Kind hard to get lost in Pasadena like that right? Isn't there like only one friggin' road down there? lol
