Finally got my DNA testing results back from my brother-in-law studying in the field.

The entire group at the week-long seminar kept focusing on my sample, because they said it was a "puzzle".

The results are very interesting, including the sample from my husband. (He had a Calcium CT scan 5 yrs ago at Mayo Hospital and they were very concerned about the calcification of his arteries - wanted to put him on Lipitor at 39. He said "No Way!" and said he would modify diet and excercise first. Well, the DNA for him show his arteries at 0 (Zero) out of 100. And his heart at 40 of 100.) He is going on several of their remedies for that.

Me? Where to begin.
Nerve system - 10 out of 60.
Energy 20 out of 100 (100 being perfect)
Thyroid 30 out of 100
Adrenals 30 out of 100
Hormonal System 20 out of 100
Large Intestines 10 out of 100 (malabsorption)

And my first surprise:
Tailbone 20 out of 100
(They didn't know but I fell straight on it at age 12 and couldn't hardly move for 2 days. Never got it checked out at the time.)

Other surprises:
They tested for pathogens/ailments and this scale is the opposite, testing postive is 100, having no issue is a 0 (Zero)
Having ideal blood pressure 120 (bad-no kidding)
Loose joints 30 (been a problem for me bigtime)
Myalgia Encephalitis 100 (still don't understand this one)
Raynaud's Syndrom 0 (Zero) which surprises me! Got the symptoms.
IBS 100 (was diagosed 12 years ago, but symptoms came and went over years.)
Vertigo Dizziness 60

Here is the biggy:
Lyme Disease 100 ! (Didn't think I was bit by a tick, but they said it could come from another animal - like the cat bite as a child, or other unknown bites over the years.)

And then two others I do not understand yet.
Treponema Dis. 100
Spirocheto Dis.? (Can't read) 100

So they are sending me remedies, 5 at a time to start with, then they will retest after I start feeling better, to see how they chart out.

Interesting, we will see!!!

I've got so many things they are sending me remedies for, it may be a year or two before I get through them all.

I will keep you all posted!!

Lyme from a cat bite? Honestly, not trying to be rude here, but these results sound fishy. Sounds like a way to sell desperate people "remedies". Frowner

I was wondering if you could explain more about DNA testing? Can anyone get it sone? And where would one get it done. I don't know about trying remedies~ be careful. Too often I see people being guniea pigs for doctors....be very cautious about what you put yourself through!

where did you get this testing done? so you tested positive for lyme disease? have you had lyme titers, or other more advanced lyme testing?

I have done some research on what you have posted and have a question. Am I understanding that these remedies are water that have had "vibrations" added to help heal the problem? I am just very curious about the science behind all of this. From what I read, the people who do this analyze your saliva to read the bodies natural vibrations? I have to say, I have never heard of any of this before and find myself quite curious...

Yes,

I am told that it is just distilled water with an electrical "frequency" in it. One frequency to match the frequency of the ailment or organ that need "balancing".

It is not expensive compared to medications and no side effects.

He (my bro-in-law) had a calcified heart valve that was closing 2 years ago and was in need of surgery as it was progressively closing. All he has done are these remedies with nothing else.

The doctors are amazed, it has not only stopped its progressive closing, but it has reversed and is opening again. It has doubled its flow in under two years.

His DNA testing confirmed that before he even told the guy the medical testing results.

Also his wife has been on remedies for Diverticulitis. Not only has she improved, she can eat again all the foods that she could no longer eat because of her condition. So she essentially has been cured of her condition.

I also am a skeptic. I know I have symptoms. I do not like doctors, as I have been their "guinea pig" long enough. Medicating, side effects, let's try this or that. Enough. They are not practicing medicine on me any more.

I just took a cotton ball and swabbed the inside of my check and he analyzed the DNA from my mouth.

I know, I am a skeptic too. I do not know if Lyme disease can come from anything but a tick, but I also don't know if I was ever bit by a tick. I see many postings about people discovering from their Dr.s that they tested positive, so it came as a surprise to them to. Who knows.

But if my symptoms go away, and my quality of life improves, that is all that matters to me.

The place he is learning from and where the testing is done is "Healers Who Share" and they have a website with more information.

Strange_Wings,

Hey, I decided to look up the cat connection and there is a strain of Lyme Disease that cats carry and can transmit called "Bartonella Quintana" and it's common name is "cat scratch disease".

One of their remedies is "Cat Scratch Fever".

I just think it is so wild because they never knew that I had a "cat incident" as a child. I actually do not remember whether it was a bad bite or a bad scratch, because I was like 8-10 years old at the time. I just remember it was bad enough to have the cat quarantined for rabies for a couple of weeks (and I felt bad because it was a neighbor's roaming cat that I was playing with.)

So, again, willing to give it a try as I really have nothing to lose. It will be quite a while before I am even on those remedies, because they want to do the ones to balance my nerve system, blood pressure, thyroid, and bone puncture infection??? first.

hey those last two, treponema and spirocheto...aren't those parasites? They sound familiar I think from my microbiology class.
This is really interesting to me, as I have learned a lot about DNA in my various classes and find it all so crazy. I'd like to have mine done too...

Kelly,

I think you are right. It sounded to me like parasites, too.

I am waiting for the detailed report to explain it all. I like the DNA idea. It is me afterall right down to the core, and I did not know that it revealed so much about me as an individual. Pretty cool.

Spirocheto = spirochaete? Which are types of bacteria. Lyme is a type of spirochaete, as is treponema...which is Syphilis?...

And Cat Stratch Disease is actually Bartonella clarridgeiae and B. henselae. B.Quintana apparently (commonly) comes from a body louse and causes Trench Fever.

No specific test was done.

It was done with "Healers Who Share"

www.healerswhoshare.com

I understand from my brother-in-law that there is something like a 3 month backlog of test orders through David Slater (the US contact).

You swab the inside of your mouth with a cotton ball and my understanding is that they analyze the DNA for all ailments.
