Not me Krissie - I want to drive again AND rule the world Big Grin!!

I haven't heard of the things you mentioned. Can you share a little more about them? One thing I do to keep my brain stimulated when I am able is play the Brain Boost games on my daughter's game boy. They can also be used on a larger screen because sometimes I can't take the little picture. I also do crossword puzzles.....but only the easy ones that make me feel smart! Smiler

**FISH OIL**

I am not lying. It is a miracle.

I am a natural skeptic and I really took some convincing and now I am telling everyone about it who will listen.

Helps joint pain, improves brain function remarkably. If I quit taking it for a few days I start to feel stupid. When I take *every day* I'm incredibly focused and can work through complex problems without feeling "brain tired".

I take 2 "Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega" every day straight from the freezer, either after lunch or after dinner. (Frozen helps you not taste fish after you eat it).

DEFINITELY recommend.

Mynagirl -

My husband swears by fish oil but I have been reluctant to take it because research shows that it can lower blood pressure and that's the last thing I need. Do you experience this at all?

Hi all! I take "Omega Complex" capsules, 2-4 a day, that gives you Omega 3,6 & 9 and is what my Neuro suggested. I've not noticed it changing how I feel and have not noted it lowering my b/p. I started taking 3 to 4 cinnamon capsules a day to lower my blood sugar, but, I'd just almost swear my mind is more clear when I take it. Brain fog and other cognitive problems are what keep me from leading a more normal life. I too, want to drive my car....so very bad.

Peace to us all! Mammy

My 2 cents? You gotta write everything down! I have a list on my fridge of what needs to be bought, I have another list on my fridge of who I gotta call, ect. Then there's a calendar on the fridge that tells me which doc I see what day. I have lists everywhere!

~I also have a list of all my doctor appts for the last 8 years....helps to have all those calendars! But for real, when I go to the doctor and they ask me when did I see this person, or when did I have this test done....or have I tried this med? At least now, I'm not sitting there going ummmmmmmmm?!?!?!....now I can say, hold on a sec., let me look.

I am like drakonlfy, I have notes everywhere and my med records in my computer. (If you have MedicAlert you can buy a plan where they have a scan of your test results on file.)

I take EPA/DHA (fish oil) recommended by my LLMD. I believe it's very good for you, but can't say it has helped my brain fog.

What's neat is I think the abx treatment I started last month is starting to help it! I have only had a couple of times with out the fuzzy/dizzy feeling, but it's exciting, makes me hopeful! Then there are times where it's just not as bad and that's good, too. Smiler

hugs
