I just wanted to share some ups/downs over the last few weeks.
I was definitely improving and strongly believe it is due to my physical therapy (twice a week) and water exercise (twice a week). I thought I was at the point where I could push myself even when I was short of breath. WRONG. I did that once and went backwards healthwise.
So, now its 3 weeks later and slowly I've gotten back to where I was before I overdid it.
BUT the positive news is that while I continue to manage my energy level and balance how much I do....I am continuing to improve!!!
I can feel 'ME' returning mentally and physically. I certainly still have a ways to go but I can see the improvement.
I went to the mall by myself for an hour!!! I took a day trip to my sisters house an hour away by myself!!! I work full-time and overtime again - rarely have to log off early to rest!!! My brain is functioning at 80% of its capacity!!!
Anyways, I just haven't been able to share because of the forum maintenance and wanted to say YEA!!!
Glad to hear you are getting better. I am able to go to the mall for an hour or more some days but I never considered this a victory which I should when I hear some other stories on this forum. I guess I keep comparing what I used to do to what I can do now which I really shouldn't.
Ken: Just now saw your earlier posting. I have never heard of that Doctor. I am sorry but can't help you out with that one. Is he someone you have heard something about?

I don't know Dr *** but I saw Dr ******* at the Piedmont office. I tried one RX that didn't help and after that he didn't have much to offer me other than 'drink more water and increase salt'.
I have been seeing Dr ******** at Emory and am very happy with him. I haven't found anything that has really helped as far as drugs go, but he is willing to continue to try new things with me and hasn't given up.
Hope this helps.....good luck!
wantMEback- thanks for sharing your improvement and good for you!!! Positive posts give us all hope.
If anyone would like info on GA Dr please PM me per NDRF rules

Ken- Dr ******** is the Director of the Cardiac Electrophysiology Dept at Emory University and yes, he orders Tilt Table Tests (TTT), performs ablations if necessary and treats different types of ANS disorders.
He agreed to have his name added to the NDRF list of DRs as there are none listed for us in GA. I submitted the info almost 7 months ago and had his office submit contact info as well, but alas....he has not been added to NDRF list.
Hard to believe there are over 8 million people in Georgia and not one Dr listed to help us. That creates feeling such unnecessary helplessness.
I am sharing this info in spite of the rules because I tried to follow protocol and was not successful. People deserve to know there are Drs available to help them. It's wrong to allow someone to suffer and not provide information.
Good Luck Ken, and if you have more quest you can always PM me.
