If you're talking about the intense pressure many of us get in our heads, then yes. Blueskies described it best on a post I opened last week. It feels like a blood pressure cuff is on my head. Not really pain, but intense pressure. That's what I experience - others may experience it differently.

I have it too...it seems to be bad when I stand up after sitting at my desk at work for too long. Its the blood rushing around...Dr told me last week that I have to remember that it takes awhile for my central nervous system to adapt to standing and moving.

I can feel the blood rushing through my veins at my temples. It kind of quivers and hurts too.

Exploding Head syndrome is when you are falling asleep and you hear a big BANG! in your ears and have the feeling like your head just exploded. You can read more about it here:

thanks, sunflower power, i should have explained.
yes, i also have the pressure in my head (drives me crazy), and have no idea why that is happening either, but i was referring to what sunflower power indicates.
when i am falling asleep, i literally hear a really really loud BANG! ok, no it's not really loud because as it turns out it is all in my head, but it seems to me like a bazooka is going off in my room.
the first couple of times it happened, i would wake up suddenly and terrifyingly ask my boyfriend what was going on. he of course looked at me like i am crazy and would deny any noises. i spent a long time accusing him of messing around with me because he knows how easily i startle.
then, lo and behold, i learned of exploding head syndrome. it is CRAZY!

Oh, THAT exploding head syndrome. Yep, had that one too, but not often. I can think of two instances. Sounded like I'd been shot and had a weird buzzing sensation go along with it. No idea what it is though.....
