As I stated in my post I have Neurocardiogenic syncope and supine hypertension. This makes my problem very hard to treat. Sometimes clonidine helps this particular problem.It helps my blood pressure from dropping as low and it helps with high blood rpressure when sitting and sleeping.

The supine hypertension was damaging my kidneys so it had to be treated. As with most things in medicine you have to weigh the cost vs. benefit. thanks for the info about CoQ10.

rosie, wow! that sounds quite serious. you think this is due to the clonopin? how long were you on it? i thought clonopin was supposed to help with vascular issues?
i'm going to discuss it further with my dr. today. because i have strong reason to suspect that i have norepinephrine issues, i think that i could respond really well to the clonodine. but i am worried about the side effects. i know my dr. is really resistant to the drug.
