Just curious if there is a difference between the prescription sodium chloride pills and the over the counter salt tabs many on here take. I had asked my pharmacy for salt tabs and they said they would have to order them. Then my neurologist wrote me a prescription for some so that's what I use. Just wondering if there's a difference.

I went to the pharmacy and asked for salt tablets, and she looked at me like I was strange for wanting it. She had me repeat my question. She found some on the shelf with the prescription medicine. I think they are both the same. I just asked my husband, and said there are the same.
