have posted on this before, but thought i'd try again to see if anyone has this, and understands this. normetanephrine is the metabolite of epinephrine.
my levels are way lower than the normal range, and my doctor does not understand this. we met today, and he confused me a bit more about it.
my norepinephrine levels, through the 24 hour urine test, were on the low normal side. meaning i was not producing much. however, when i took the test, i had a lot of anxiety. does this make sense? i am leaning toward thinking this is from the low normetanephrine levels. but cannot find ANYTHING on the internet about it. all the info is about high levels and pheochromocytomas.
my dr is thinking this is an adrenal problem now, and wants to do imaging to find a tumor. but i'm more inclined to think this is a neurotransmitter problem.
if anyone knows anything about this, or has the same problem, i would be so grateful for more info!!!
