Just wanted to share with everybody that my son GRADUATED FROM HIGH SCHOOL this past Sunday! We were worried because it was very hot and humid, but it also was very windy which kept him cool enough to walk across the stage!

It's been 3 years since my son got POTS, and this has been a long awaited goal for him.

Just wanted to share the good news! Thanks for reading.

Just wanted to say congrats - that is a huge accomplishment! Have you seen any improvement over these 3 years?

My son wasn't diagnosed until his Junior year in High School. He was barely attending school at all up to that point. With the cooperation of the school, he attended his last 2 classes of the day, and then had a homebound teacher for the other 4 classes. His senior year, he increased his attendance to 3 classes in school, 3 at home.

If all the classes were in the afternoon, attendance wouldn't have been a problem for the most part.

If he keeps up on his fluids, my son does much better. His main problem is abdominal pain and fatigue. He has been improving slightly, and has learned to moderate his activities on good days.
