Hi Laura,

For some reason I can't fathom I can read at night, but mornings are not a good reading time for me as they will make my migraine worse and will bring on dizziness as you noted.

I finished Virginia Woolfs "Mrs Dalloway" about a month ago I guess (I lose track of time). It was a hard read. Even my pain specialist said she's a hard writer to read. But it was worth it as it's such a great book.

Since then I've read a Jean Rhys book called "Good morning, midnight."

There's a line in it that was pure gold, "I have been ridiculous all my life, what's a little more or less now." I loved that line and thought how it applied to me. Then I thought how it applied to everyone. I even read it out to my psychiatrist at my last visit to see him to see what he thought and he laughed and said "It's universal."

It's wonderful what books can do for my mood. Since then I've been thinking about the ridiculousness of human beings. We are ALL ridiculous -- no exceptions. I believe. And it's such a comforting thought. I thought I was in the minority when it comes to being a ridiculous person. Now, I'm learning not to feel the need to hide that deep secret - LOL - That I am ridiculous.

I'm now reading E.M. Forster's "A room with a view." Forster, Woolf and Rhys were all friends apparently and all unbelievably good writers but I am finding Forster easier to read.

As I can only read at night this adds to the time it takes me to complete a book.
